President Muhammadu Buhari has issued new directives for the transparent management of all funds devoted to the fight against COVID-19.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Director (Information & Press, Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation), Henshaw Ogubike on Wednesday.
The directives are contained in the accountability framework approved by the president. They are expected to take effect immediately.
According to the document, the “Federal Government recognises citizens expectation that these resources be prudently applied towards the fight against COVID-19.
