Arrested Development will be returning to Netflix for a fourth season, after it was announced that the cult comedy would be coming back for a fifth season.
The announcement was made by Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos, who said that the upcoming fourth season would be the last for the show, and that the new season will consist of eight episodes.
Sarandos said: “We are so proud of the show and we are so excited to bring it back.
“The creative team and cast are doing a great job and we can’t wait to share the adventures of the Bluths with the world.”
Michael Cera, who plays George Michael Bluth on the show, has also commented on the news, saying that he is “thrilled” about the news, and that the show is a “phenomenal achievement”.
The fourth season of the show will consist of eight episodes, and will be released on Netflix in the United States, Canada, Latin America, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, and Australia, in 2016.
